OOTD/DIY: Keep it Simple

Ugh. I've been a horrible blogger lately, but I've also been busy. I'm actually rushing a sorority and bids will be announced next week! I'm pretty damn excited. Anyway, this is my outfit.

Top: DIY. I had a fruit of the loom plain white tee with v neck. Then I just cut a triangle out of the back and made two slits in the shoulders and tied them in a knot. 


Shorts: DIY with high waisted pants. Just cut to desired length and hem


Belt: Stolen from my mommy's closet :)

Black and Grey

It's been a while since I last posted, but that's because I don't have anything to post about. YES I really am that boring :)

OOTD: 91 degrees and over.

Today is 91 degrees with insane humidity. Literally my makeup is melting off my face. No amount of TFSI is going to save it. So, I stuck with a simple eye and did bright lipstick. I love how lipstick will stay regardless of the humidity. I mean that is as long as you don't lick or whatever. 

I'm also loving this new blogger format. It's fantastic. It's a lot cleaner and I like it a tonne.

OOTD: First Day of School

I'm so uncreative. I basically wore an outfit like this, except instead of sequined shirts, I wore a striped red/white shirt. Paired with brown shoes from Bamboo: HERE

I'll have a better outfit on tomorrow. Well, I like this outfit, so I mean a more "creative" on. By the way, I found out that there are like 20 girls out of 90 kids in my Combinatorics class at CMU. Lovely.

OOTD: Sequins galore!

Today, I went to my friend, Eunice's, house. I brought over delicious banana cupcakes with honey cinnamon creamcheese. AH I'm a bad blogger because I didn't take picture :( But here is the outfit today. I went with all black. Well the pants are more navy... But whatever. I've accented it with bright blue shoes and a white belt. 

Shirt- XS black shirt from Old Navy, sequined hand sewed on. I have a tut here
Shorts- Altered from old high waisted black pants.
Shoes- from Taiwan.
Belt- From my mom's closet like 20 years ago. It no longer adjusts. Not for days where you eat a feast. 

OOTD (well on Thursday)

Hey ladies! Again, my deepest apologies for not posting for like, ever. It's been a really hectic week with my tests and stuff. And FINALLY my bf and I are on good terms and it's been really great in that department. For everything else (school), it's been really tough. I have finals in a week(ugh) and I have a physics (ugh) test Monday. I hate physics. I will be studying when I go to work. I mean I'm an usher so I basically work for like 2 hours, then I sit for another 2 just to make sure that no one causes trouble or help them find the bathroom. 

Anyway. I will resume more regular posting/ commenting once the summer hits.

Outfit of the Day: Vintage polka dotted taupe dress

Most of my readers (as stated in their entries for my 5th giveaway located in the sidebar) have commented that they want to see an outfit of the day from me. Usually I don't feel like my outfits deserve a post in my blog. I like to post more special outfits. Not like "yay tshirt and jeans". Like that's just boring omfg. Also, I'm really not going to photograph myself while my roommate is there. I don't exactly announce to people that I HAVE a blog so to her, it'll be like "Super vaiinnnn..... im going to ignore it now". 

But hey, I like OOTDs on people. Sorry about the weird closeups. I needed it because I have a mirror kind of hanging off the door and that's it.

So! Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope that everyone is feeling super fantastico? I certiantly am considering it's the middle of the week and so I'm going to do an outfit of the day. My inspiration? The fake pearls that I found under my mom's sink.





Sorry, but everything here really can't be purchased in stores becuase i have no idea where they come from! The skirt was handmade and I did make a post on that. It should be under the tutorials label. I apologize for the underwear hanging in the background, but it's necesary. We don't really use a laundry dryer even though we have one becuase my family likes to save money.
