Free shoes up for grabs!

I AM GIVING AWAY FREE SHOES. Seriously guys I am. I bought a pair of black heels like 5 months ago and... I CAN'T GET THEM TO WORK FOR ME UGH. They are 4.5 inch heels, size 8 (US sizing) with a chunky heel and .5 inch platform. Some followers may recognize them...

I wore them once with insoles. I will obviously be taking those out. They're just too large :( EVEN WITH INSOLES AND STUFFS and i am sad. My loss is your gain. You want them? Just shoot me an email (chunkyxmunki(@)gmail(dot)com) and let's work something out. I'm basically asking for a little shipping for intenational peeps or we could even work out a swap lol. I really don't care. They're collecting dust k?

New Shoes by Bamboo

This is a pretty late haul post as I got this like 2 weeks ago in Soho. I got this from the store, Necessary Clothing. I actually saw these pair of shoes in Marshalls like 2 months ago, but they were more expensive at 25.99. I bought them for 20.99 :3 Happy happy! These are from Bamboo, size 7.5. The heel is estimated at like.... 3 inches?

They are actually awesome and super comfortable. I want more Bamboo shoes.

RANT: I have no friends.

*Warning, this is just a little rant I have to get off my chest*

Actually that's just bull. I have friends, but not friends that I kinda want. Don't get me wrong. I love my friends. I have a lot of them. Their interests vary from walking outside, to rowing, to anime, to reading. However, they don't contain makeup, and clothes. I mean, I have a friend who doesn't care about her stuff. She's like "... clothes are clothes... I don't get it".

-___________________- What is there to get? Looking back now, I never really had friends who liked makeup or clothes. In high school, literally it was just me who wore makeup. My friends who did, well... barely cared beyond the minimum. They didn't stalk makeup blogs or attempt to make their own clothes. If you saw pictures, it would be like me with crazy eye makeup and them looking glowy in their fresh, natural faces.

And well, it's never bothered me until now. Today, actually, I was feeling really bored and restless and I lashed out at the bf. He asked me about some vest I dug out of my moms closet and I wanted to make shorter. I just... wanted to hit him. I knew that he only cared because I care. He couldn't care less about makeup or whatever. (Today, Masterchef was not on btw). I didn't want him to freaking ask because he wanted to flatter me or whatever. I wanted to talk to someone, anyone really, about my fucking vest. Like is it that wrong to want to have a friend to talk to when I want to talk about vests and skirts and making outfits and the latest makeup seen in Glamour magazine?

I wish I had a friend to talk to about makeup and fashion. I mean, after a while, just flipping through magazines and blogs get boring. No offense ladies. I need human interaction, period.

So yeah. I feel better now. I just need a friend and it makes me really moody. This isn't a call for people to start commenting more or like have meetups lol. It's just a general rant about it and well, I hope I find someone in my college who actually shares my interest.

OOTD: Sequins galore!

Today, I went to my friend, Eunice's, house. I brought over delicious banana cupcakes with honey cinnamon creamcheese. AH I'm a bad blogger because I didn't take picture :( But here is the outfit today. I went with all black. Well the pants are more navy... But whatever. I've accented it with bright blue shoes and a white belt.

Shirt- XS black shirt from Old Navy, sequined hand sewed on. I have a tut here
Shorts- Altered from old high waisted black pants.
Shoes- from Taiwan.
Belt- From my mom's closet like 20 years ago. It no longer adjusts. Not for days where you eat a feast.

Some drawing excursions.

My grandfather's birthday is coming up so I decided to draw him a picture of me and my sister when we were like.. 5 and 1 respectively. I tried to make the flower in my sister's hand more pronounced but err for some reason the orange wouldn't draw over the green. I suspect it's because there are too many pencil mark indentations.

Here is the final result! There is light shining on it so my face looks awkwardly white. Also, more news, I'm going to be posting some sewing DIY's tomorrow. I spent my entire day yesterday basically sewing stuff for myself.
